Enrichment

Our curriculum goes beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum and offers a rich range of engaging experiences, both during and beyond the school day. Children benefit from a wide range after-school clubs that enhance the core curriculum, develop specialist skills such as sport, and broaden experiences that build cultural capital. These opportunities encourage children to be curious, brave, and ambitious learners, helping them to find their remarkable and understand the purpose and relevance of their learning.

We are proud of our highly inclusive school environment, where children enjoy their learning and make strong progress across all areas of the curriculum. Every child is supported to reach their full potential, developing resilience and confidence, and feeling empowered to succeed. More able children are challenged through opportunities for greater depth, while those who need additional support receive targeted provision to help them secure key skills, learn at an appropriate pace, and discover their own unique strengths — enabling every child to truly Find Their Remarkable.

Across every year group, children take part in a wide range of carefully planned enrichment experiences that enhance and deepen their learning. These include educational visits beyond the classroom that are closely linked to curriculum themes, helping children to apply their knowledge in real-life contexts. Visitors are also welcomed into school to share expertise, experiences, and inspiration, bringing learning to life. In addition, we provide regular opportunities for parents and carers to come into school and take part in enrichment activities alongside their children, strengthening learning partnerships and supporting children to grow in confidence, curiosity, and understanding.
